Nintendo Brings Upcoming Games to PAX East

Nintendo has announced their plans for PAX East which is taking place in Boston, MA.  Their coverage will include five upcoming releases between the Wii U and 3DS.  For the Wii U, attendees will get a chance to play Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE and Star Fox Zero.  Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE will launch this summer on June 24.  Announced alongside this playable demo at PAX East is a special edition of the game which will include a color artbook, a six-song soundtrack CD, six song cards and a sticker sheet.  Also in this special edition is download codes for five pieces of DLC.  This special edition will be available at GameStop and Amazon.com.  Star Fox Zero will launch this Friday, April 22.

The three remaining titles to be shown are Kirby: Planet Robobot, Monster Hunter Generations, and Metroid Prime: Federation Force.  Kirby: Planet Robobot was previously announced to launch June 10 alongside some amiibo for the game.  There is no release date given for Monster Hunter Generations but fans can expect it will a great game as it serves as a tribute to each game in the series.  Nintendo decided that the season of Spring should be extended to August as Metroid Prime: Federation Force was given an official release date of August 19, 2016.  This is just a joke as the original release date known was “late Spring”, the more likely scenario is that it was delayed into Summer.

In addition, to Nintendo’s booth, developer Thomas Happ Games will be at the show allowing players to demo the upcoming game Axiom Verge.  The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild developer behind the puzzle game Tumblestone will also be present.  Square Enix developers will be present for the Nintendo hosted developer panel of the recently released game Bravely Second: End Layer. Fans will get behind-the-scenes information, see some concept art and gameplay and will end with a Q&A.  They will also be available to sign autographs.
