The Final Score was 7-2 with the Wii U toppling the 3DS in today’s Nintendo Download!
The unfortunate trend continues as the Wii U significantly outpaces the 3DS for weekly releases via the Nintendo Download. Plenty of overall variety between the two eShops though, so let’s dive right in!
Style Savvy is the latest Virtual Console game to join the Wii U. Originally released on the Nintendo DS Style Savvy allows you to come up with a variety of stylish outfits for both yourself and the customers. Purchase and track inventory, maintain a shopping budget and more as the possibilities are nearly endless. Continuing on, there are six additional indie titles to check out and those are Escape from Flare Industries, Midnight 2, PixelMaker, SpaceRoads, Sudoku and Permudoku, and The Beggar’s Ride. Tons of variety with a Sudoku game, an art game and variety of different styles with action/platforming games.
The SNES games on the New 3DS continue to be added with the release of Super Punch-Out!!. Little Mac is back in hopes of winning the World Video Boxing Association belt once again! Plenty of familiar opponents along a number of new ones to learn their patterns. Pocket Card Jockey is the latest game in the horse-racing card game genre. Are you a master of solitaire and can play at a horse-race pace? The full game is now available, and a reminder that a demo released recently in case you are curious about this game. At the end of the line, the second line of Fire Emblem Fates DLC launched today. As with the first line, you can purchase a Map Pack to get all seven upcoming games, or purchase them individually.
There is also a new featured activity this week. Fans of the Nintendo Badge Arcade will be welcomed with a free play in your next log into the game. This activity is a thank-you to the fans and you can earn exclusive Arcade Bunny badges by spending a dollar to four dollars by May 25. One badge is awarded automatically for each dollar spent on plays in the arcade.
